Pro football hall of famer Jim Langer received a warm homecoming this (Wednesday) afternoon at Royalton High School. Langer, a Royalton graduate, was honored as part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Hometown Hall of Famer program, which celebrates the hometown roots of the NFL's greatest players.
A teenager is in serious condition after a rollover near Royalton yesterday (Monday). The incident happened just before 3:30 p.m. along 210th Avenue, just north of Nature Road near Royalton.
A Royalton woman was taken to the hospital on Friday after driving off the road and hitting a telephone utility box. The incident happened just after 5:30 p.m. at 39122 County Road 1. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says 66-year-old Martha Loften was driving a Jeep Cherokee northbound

Two people were hurt in a rollover in Royalton early on Saturday morning. The incident happened just before 3:00 a.m. at 8791 192nd Avenue. The Morrison County Sheriff's Office says 17-year-old Gabrielle Yackel of Royalton was traveling north on 192nd Avenue when she swerved to avoid hitting a deer.
A flashing LED billboard that had a Royalton man upset has been shut off. Back in January, Mark Schraut was fighting to get the billboard taken down after saying the sign violated his property and multiple city ordinances.
