Dayton Picks St. Cloud Lawyer to Fill Mille Lacs Judgeship

Governor Mark Dayton has picked a lawyer with St. Cloud Area Legal Services to be the new judge in Mille Lacs County. Sarah Hennesy will replace Judge Steven Ruble who retired at the end of 2011.

Panel Recommends Three Candidates for 7th District Judgeship

A St. Cloud lawyer, Morrison County prosecutor and Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Judge are the three finalists for a judgeship in Mille Lacs County. The Minnesota Commission on Judicial Selection will forward the names of the three candidates to Governor Dayton for consideration.
