Panel Recommends Three Candidates for 7th District Judgeship

ST. PAUL -- A St. Cloud lawyer, Morrison County prosecutor and Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Judge are the three finalists for a judgeship in Mille Lacs County.

The Minnesota Commission on Judicial Selection will forward the names of the three candidates to Governor Dayton for consideration.

Sarah Hennesy is a civil legal aid attorney with St. Cloud Area Legal Services.

Todd Kosovich is an Assistant Morrison County Attorney.

Judge Richard Osburn is a tribal judge for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe.

The vacant seat is being created with the retirement of Judge Steven Ruble.

The Seventh Judicial District includes Becker, Benton, Clay, Douglas, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Otter Tail, Stearns, Todd and Wadena counties.
