Dayton Picks St. Cloud Lawyer to Fill Mille Lacs Judgeship

ST. PAUL -- Governor Mark Dayton has picked a lawyer with St. Cloud Area Legal Services to be the new judge in Mille Lacs County.

Sarah Hennesy will replace Judge Steven Ruble who retired at the end of 2011.

Hennesy is currently a civil legal aid with St. Cloud Area legal Services where she practices in family, government assistance and Social Security law. She is also co-chair of the Stearns County Family Violence Court and member of the St. Cloud Area Human Rights Commission.

The Seventh Judicial District includes Becker, Benton, Clay, Douglas, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Otter Tail, Stearns, Todd and Wadena counties.
