The lights have been turned on at an annual light display in St. Joseph. The 4th annual "Lights on Callaway" holiday display started last Friday and runs through January 9th.
With the approaching holiday season comes the annual tradition of hanging Christmas lights. Once again this year, officials remind you to recycle your old tangled clump of lights and replace them with new energy efficient LED lights.
For the second year, the Recycling Association of Minnesota is collecting unwanted Christmas lights. The association has lined up 320 locations statewide where Minnesotans can recycle the lights.
