BECKER - Some tense moments this (Tuesday) morning for passengers on a motorcoach bus.

The Sherburne County Sheriff's Department says they received a 911 call from a driver following the bus Jefferson Lines Company  at about 10:20 a.m. on Highway 10 near Becker.

They spotted a man hanging out of the rear emergency exit window.  As the bus slowed, the man jumped out the window.  He told officers he had been threatened by a man with a gun and had locked himself in the bathroom before jumping from the bus.  However, it was determined that no threat was made.

The passengers were allowed to continue on their trip.

The man who made accusations was taken to New River Medical Center for evaluation.
