Yankees Beat Twins 4-3
The Twins lost 4-3 at New York against the Yankees Monday night. Alex Rodriguez and Jorge Posada each hit 2-run homeruns off Scott Baker before Minnesota started a comeback attempt. Jim Thome hit a 2-run double and Tsuyoshi Nishioka was 2-4 with a RBI and Justin Morneau went 2-4 with a run scored for Minnesota. Baker takes the loss after allowing 5 hits and 3 earned runs in 6 innings. Minnesota is 1-3 and will play the 2nd game of the 4-game series at New York tonight at 6:05, pregame on WJON at 5:35. Lefthander Brian Duensing gets the start on the mound for the Twins and lefthander C.C. Sabathia toes the rubber for New York.
