It's hard to believe that this weekend is the 11th annual Pierz Freedom Fest at the Genola Ball Fields. Headlining this year's festival is Chase Rice, with supporting acts of Phil Vassar, Lauren Watkins, and Mason Dixon Line. Here's what you need to know before you arrive at Freedom Fest.

Do I need my ID?

Yes. Everyone gets carded coming in. There is NOT an age requirement to enjoy Freedom Fest, but everyone needs to bring an ID so they can get the right wristbands.

What time do the gates open?

3pm! You can show up early to buy tickets or pick your perfect parking spot, but the gates won't open until 3pm.

What can I bring in to Pierz Freedom Fest?

Lawn chairs and a good attitude. You'll have to leave your coolers back at the camper.

Can I leave and come back?

As long as you leave your wristband on you can come and go from the festival grounds, however, if you're parked in the parking lot your space won't be saved.

Can I bring a purse in?

Yes, but the bag policy states that they must be 4.5" by 6.5" in size or smaller, and are subject to search by security before entering.

Weapons policy?

No weapons are allowed in or on the grounds of Pierz Freedom Fest.

Of course, the Pierz Area Commercial Club wants you to have fun, but also wants this event to be safe.
