Top 5 at 7:45 – Benefits of Seattle’s $15 Minimum Wage

Seattle is moving toward a $15 minimum wage and I'm listing the Top 5 benefits of the minimum wage for Seattle residents.  The Top 5 at 7:45 airs weekday mornings with me on WJON.

5) Coffee shop employees get a raise - There are lots of coffee shops in Seattle.  This isn't breaking news.
4) Seahawk cornerback Richard Sherman's big contract now doesn't look as big
3) Residents can to afford to try and bring back the Sonics - The Sonics re-located to Oklahoma City.
2) Can afford high end umbrellas - It rains a lot in Seattle.
1) More money to buy legal marijuana.
