The Twins lost their home opener 5-1 to the Los Angeles Angels Monday afternoon at Target Field. Nick Blackburn allowed 5 hits and 5 earned runs in 6 innings to take the loss. C.J. Wilson allowed 3 hits and 1 earned run in 7 inning to get the win for the Angels. Josh Willingham hit a solo homerun off Wilson accounting for the lone Twins' run.

Sartell Hires Hentges As Head Football Coach
Sartell-St. Stephen has hired Scott Hentges as their new head football coach. The decision was announced today on the Sartell-St. Stephen website. Hentges replaces John Ross who remains at Sartell as the Athletic Director. Hentges has held many different positions within the Sartell-St. Stephen football program. He has coached quarterbacks, running backs, linebackers, defensive backs and most recently defensive coordinator.

The Twins lost 3-1 at Baltimore Sunday as the Orioles completed the sweep of Minnesota. Jason Hammel took a no-hitter into the 8th inning before Justin Morneau's double broke-up the no-hitter to lead off the 8th inning. Josh Willingham doubled Morneau in to scored the lone Twins' run. Anthony Swarzak threw 5 innings with 1 earned run allowed to take the loss. Swarzak started in place of Liam Hendriks. Hendriks couldn't pitch because of food poisioning.

Bubba Watson beat Louis Oosthuizen on the 2nd playoff hole at the 2012 Masters Sunday evening. Watson hit a great 2nd shot to save par on the 2nd playoff hole while Oosthuizen settled for a bogey. Watson and Oosthuizen were each -10 after regulation. Watson rallied on the back nine with 4 straight birdies on 13, 14, 15 and 16. For Watson it's his first major tournament win.

The Twins had trouble hitting, fielding and pitching Saturday night in their 8-2 loss at Baltimore. The Orioles scored 1 run in the 2nd inning, 2 in the 3rd and 3 in the 4th and never trailed. Tommy Hunter threw 7 innings with 6 hits and 2 unearned runs allowed. Minnesota scored both of their runs in the 8th inning. Justin Morneau went 2-4 and both Jamey Carroll and Joe Mauer had RBI groundouts. Francisco Liriano threw just 4 innings with 8 hits and 5 earned runs allowed to take the loss.
