Storms sweeping across central and southern Minnesota have dumped heavy rain and hail but caused no major damage. The National Weather Service says two tornadoes were spotted Sunday in McLeod County and another twister was seen in Lyon County. Thunderstorms rumbled through parts of our listening area on Tuesday evening. The first storms started to pop up around 6:30 p.m. There were reports of golf ball size hail in parts of Stearns, Benton, Sherburne, Morrison, Todd and other counties. There were also reports of winds up to 60 miles an hour.
