Fire destroyed a shed near Cold Spring. Officials were called just before noon yesterday (Sunday) to the fire on Hidden Cove Road.

A 43-year-old Clearwater man accidentally shot himself. The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says Kevin Matz was cleaning a handgun when it went off and shot him in the arm.

A barn in Eden Lake Township has been destroyed by fire. The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says the fire along County Road 34 was reported just after 1:00 a.m. this (Monday) morning.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Department is investigating a hit and run. A vehicle driven by 73-year-old Dorthy Wiechmann of Melrose was hit by a white Econoline van, which caused her vehicle to spin out of control.
