State Tourney

Cathedral defeated Fergus Falls 5-0 Tuesday night in Sauk Centre in the Section 8A boys soccer Final. The Crusaders improve to 19-0 and are going back to the state tournament for a 4th straight year. The Crusaders finished 3rd in the state tournament last season.

The St. Cloud Crush lost 6-5 to Minnetonka in 9 innings in the Class 4-A State Tournament Consolation Semifinals at Palm Field in St. Anthony. Minnetonka went out to a 2-1 lead in the 3rd inning before St. Cloud mounted their comeback.

The Cathedral softball team finished off the season with a 3-1 win over St. Agnes Friday afternoon at Caswell Park in North Mankato.

Albany defeated Annandale 63-53 Friday night in the Section 6-2-A championship game at St. Cloud State to earn another trip to the State Tournament. The Huskies improve to 28-2 while Annandale's season ends with a 26-4 record.
