The St. Cloud State men's hockey team battled back into first place in the NCHC standings with a 6-1 victory over North Dakota on last (Saturday) night at home. The win improved SCSU's overall record to 9-3-0 and moved the Huskies into a first place tie in the NCHC standings with UND (10-2-2 overall) at 5-1-0- apiece.
The #6/7Huskies dug themselves into a early two-goal deficit and were unable to complete a comeback as SCSU drops the season opener to #5/6 Colgate, 3-1.
