St. Cloud State Baseball

The St. Cloud State baseball team will begin the NSIC schedule today when they play at doubleheader at Minnesota State-Mankato. The two teams were scheduled to play doubleheaders Saturday and Sunday but because of a rainy weather forecast Sunday.

St. Cloud State junior captain Joey Benke has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference player of the week this week. Benke was 5-8 in games played Sunday and Monday. He was 3-4 against Eastern New Mexico in a 6-3 win for the Huskies.

College Baseball: #8 St. Cloud State 10, Central Oklahoma 2 (SCSU scored 8 runs in the 4th inning. Jordan Smith went 3-5 with a run scored and 1 RBI for the Huskies. SCSU is 12-2 this season and will play at Minnesota State-Mankato Saturday and Sunday)

College Baseball: #8 St. Cloud State 6, Eastern New Mexico 3 (Joey Benke went 3-4 for the Huskies. St. Cloud State is 11-2 and will play Cameron University at 12:30 today and Central Oklahoma at 4pm today)
