The St. Cloud State baseball team will begin the NSIC schedule today when they play at doubleheader at Minnesota State-Mankato. The two teams were scheduled to play doubleheaders Saturday and Sunday but because of a rainy weather forecast Sunday.

St. Cloud State junior captain Joey Benke has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference player of the week this week. Benke was 5-8 in games played Sunday and Monday. He was 3-4 against Eastern New Mexico in a 6-3 win for the Huskies.
