The St. Cloud Rox signed 3 players to join the team for the 2013 season. The 3 players are University of California freshman outfielder Devin Pearson and California freshman pitcher Jordan Talbot and St. Cloud State sophomore outfielder Eric Loxtercamp.

The St. Cloud Rox announced their 2013 schedule Monday night. The Rox will open at the Waterloo Bucks on May 29 before hosting Thunder Bay in their home opener on May 31. The Northwoods League in 2013 will play 2 inter-division series.

The St. Cloud Rox announced the return of 4 players for the 2013 season. The four returnees are right-handed pitchers Ty Jackson (Washington State) and Adam Maxon (Jacksonville), junior catcher Adam Martin (Western Carolina) and reshirt freshman 3rd baseman Nick Tanielu (Washington State).

The St. Cloud Rox and AM 1390-the Fan are announcing a 3-year contract agreement. The Rox and Townsquare Media struck the deal Tuesday afternoon that extends through the 2015 season. Rox Vice President Scott Schriener says "The entire St. Cloud Rox organization is thrilled to have AM 1390-the Fan be the official radio play-by-play partner of Rox Baseball through the 2015 season."

The St. Cloud Rox are bringing back field manager Augie Rodriguez for a 3rd year in St. Cloud. Rodriguez spent one season as field manager of the St. Cloud River Bats before managing the Rox in 2012. The Rox were 29-41 overall this past season but were 20-16 in the 2nd half of the season.

The Rox ended their first season with a 6-0 loss on the road at Rochester Sunday afternoon. Rochester scored 5 runs in the 7th inning after taking a 1-0 lead in the 1st. Andy Henkemeyer and Tony Skjefte each went 1-3 for the Rox. St. Cloud managed just 3 hits in the game. Lucas Long threw 5 innings with 5 hits and 1 earned run allowed to take the loss.

The Waterloo Bucks snapped the St. Cloud Rox 8-game winning streak with a 8-6 win over the Rox on Friday night. The Rox doesn't kill the Rox playoff chances because Willmar also lost 6-0 to Mankato. Waterloo took a 5-3 lead in the 6th inning and extended the lead to 8-3. Nick Tanielu had 2 hits and 2 RBIs and Boo Vazquez was 2-4 with a run scored for the Rox.

The St. Cloud Rox earned a walk-off win over Waterloo 11-10 in 11 innings Thursday night. Nick Tanielu singled home Andy Henkemeyer in the 11th inning to give the Rox their 8th straight win. Henkemeyer went 4-6 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBIs, Erik Kozel went 4-6 with 2 RBIs and Chris Paul was 3-7 with 2 runs scored for the Rox.

The St. Cloud Rox are just 1/2 game back of Willmar for first place in the 2nd half North Division standings after a 9-4 win over Waterloo Wednesday night. The Rox scored 7 runs in the 3rd inning. Boo Vazquez was 2-4 with a solo homerun and Elvin Soto hit a 3-run triple for St. Cloud. The St. Cloud Rox continue to roll after winning their 6th straight game 3-2 over Waterloo Tuesday night. Elvin Soto broke the 2-all tie with a RBI single in the 7th inning. Soto was 2-3 with 2 RBIs for the Rox. Phil Imholte was 2-3 when 2-3 with 1 RBI and Tadd Johansen threw a complete game with 5 hits and 2 runs (1 earned run) with 7 strikeouts to get the win.
