St. Cloud Cathedral

St. Cloud Cathedral has a vision of turning their Performing Arts Center into more of a destination for the whole region. Recently the Catholic school raised nearly $102,000 in their Fund-A-Need campaign to make upgrades, in part, to the Holy Angels Performing Arts Center.

Students and staff at Cathedral High School honored one of their long time teachers Tuesday morning.

The fundraising campaign at St. Cloud Cathedral achieved a big goal recently. Director of the Capital Campaign Marit Ortega says a $500,000 challenge match from the Coborn Family Foundation has been met.

While we all want that perfect seat to watch the St. Cloud fireworks display Wednesday, Cathedral High School is asking you to not set up camp on their football field.

The plan to build the first new building on the St. Cloud Cathedral campus in over 50 years has taken another step forward. The St. Cloud City Planning Commission unanimously approved amending the existing PUD for the project.

For an artist, a canvas can be practically anything. For the art club students at St. Cloud Cathedral, that canvas happens to be 3rd Street North.

Cathedral High School is another step closer to its multi-million dollar expansion and renovation plans with the official hiring of an architect to design the buildings.

Boys basketball player Mitchell Plombon will play at Winona State, fellow basketball player Michael Schaefer will join Plombon in the NSIC at Augustana and girls hockey player Allie Cornelius will play at St. Cloud State University.

St. Cloud Cathedral's goal for a state championship was cut short Thursday night after falling to Bemidji 3-0 in the Section 8A boys soccer final.
