Our snow yesterday (Sunday) afternoon caused area roads to become very slick. The State Patrol reports over 80 crashes in the St. Cloud area yesterday.
Another 1 to 3 inch snow accumulation is possible this (Friday) afternoon into tonight along and north of the Interstate 94 corridor, as another fast moving clipper system moves across the area.
Snowfall accumulations will range from 5 to 7 inches in southeast and south central Minnesota, to 1 to 3 inches in our part of the state by Tuesday morning.
A strong weather system arrives late in the week and will bring two rounds of winter weather. The first round will come on Wednesday night and Thursday. The second round of weather will be associated with colder temperatures and much better chances for accumulating snow on Friday.
