A weak low pressure system will move across region on Friday and Friday night. A stronger low pressure system is projected to pass across the area from Saturday into Sunday.
An early fall snowstorm plunged residents of northern Minnesota back into winter-like conditions, slowed travel and caused power outages. Wet, heavy snow pulled down power lines and temporarily cut service to 6,500 Xcel Energy customers in the Moorhead area early Thursday.
The National Weather Service says snow is on the way for Saturday. A line from Morris to St. Cloud has the best chance for snow and a Winter Weather Advisory might be needed at some point.
