Minnesota students are showing slight progress on the reading portion of the state's standardized tests, but 11th graders fared better on the math test.
The Sartell-St. Stephen school district will put two questions on the November ballot. The first will ask voters to approve a $2.9 million levy for 10 years. That would replace the current $1.2 million levy that is set to expire at the end of this year.

St. Cloud Apollo has their commencement at 7:30 p.m. tonight (Thursday) at the St. Cloud Civic Center. Seniors at St. Cloud Tech will get their diplomas tomorrow (Friday) at 7:30 p.m. also at the Civic Center.
Governor Dayton has signed a law that creates a path into the teaching profession for nontraditional teachers and midcareer professionals. However, the Superintendent of the Sartell-St. Stephen school district says his district won't be impacted much by the new law.
