The Morrison County Sheriff is investigating a deadly crash. Twenty-year-old Thomas Krivanek of Fergus Falls was making a U-turn when he was struck by a semi driven by 48-year-old Robert LeFavor of Long Prairie.
A 17-year-old boy is accused of accidentally shooting a woman while she sat in a swing in her yard. Deputies found the the boy, who admitted to shooting at a squirrel. The boy fired a .22 caliber rifle about 140 feet away.

An eight-year-old boy was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital on Saturday when he was hit by a truck in Morrison County. The 40-year-old driver was southbound in his pick-up on Jewel Road, north of County Road 48, when the boy crossed the road on his bike.

Michel Wetzel says scammers are sending e-mails saying that a your income tax return has a problem and that you need to fill out a form to correct the problems, and fax it back to a phone number -- typically it's an 866 number.
Two men have been arrested for allegedly trying to steal gas and copper tubing from a rural Morrison County home. A homeowner in Little Falls Township called the sheriff's department at about 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, when they noticed a vehicle pull into their driveway and shut off it's lights.
