The Minnesota Wild lost 3-2 at San Jose Thursday night. Patrick Marleau scored the game-winning goal to break a 2-all tie for the Sharks. John Madden and Kyle Brodziak each scored a goal for the Wild and Niklas Backstrom had 47 saves for Minnesota.

The Minnesota Wild got Mikko Koivu back in the lineup Monday night but still lost at Vancouver 4-2. The Canucks scored 3 first period goals and held on from there. Andrew Brunette and Mikko Koivu each scored a goal for the Wild and Niklas Backstrom had 18 saves.

The Minnesota Wild were shutout for a 2nd straight night falling 4-0 to the Dallas Stars. Minnesota lost 4-0 at Nashville Thursday night. Dallas scored 1 goal in the first period and 3 more in the 2nd. Jose Theodore had 27 saves for Minnesota. The Wild were outshot 31-14.

The Wild beat Colorado 5-2 at home Tuesday night. John Madden broke the 2-all tie in the 3rd period with a goal for the Wild. Jared Spurgeon had a goal and an assist for Minnesota and Martin Havlat, Andrew Brunette, and Kyle Brodziak each added a goal for the Wild.

The Minnesota Wild lost 3-2 in overtime against Buffalo Sunday. Warren Peters and Marek Zidlicky each scored a goal for the Wild and Jose Theodore had 30 saves for Minnesota. The Wild are 34-25-7 and with 75 points are 1 point back of the final playoff spot in the West. Minnesota will host Colorado Tuesday night at 7pm, pregame on WJON at 6:35.

The Minnesota Wild won 3-1 at New York against the Rangers Thursday night. Minnesota fell behind 1-0 before scoring 2 2nd period goals. Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Kyle Brodziak each scored a goal and added an assist and Jose Theodore had 40 saves for Minnesota. The Wild were outshot 41-19. Minnesota is 34-25-6 and with 74 points is tied for 9th place in the West, 1 point back of the last playoff spot in the west.

The Minnesota Wild lost 4-1 at the New York Islanders Wednesday night. Niklas Backstrom allowed 3 goals and was pulled from the game early in the 2nd period. He had 16 saves. Jose Theodore replaced him and had 21 saves and 1 goal allowed. John Madden scored the lone Minnesota goal. The Wild are 33-25-6 and with 72 points are in 11th place in the West, 2 points back of the last playoff spot.

The Minnesota Wild lost 4-2 at home to the Chicago Blackhawks Monday night. Chicago went out to a 3-0 lead entering the 3rd period before Minnesota got goals from Martin Havlat and Brent Burns. Chicago added an insurance goal after the scored was 3-2. Niklas Backstrom had 30 saves for the Wild and Minnesota was outshot 34-26.

The Minnesota Wild traded minor league goaltender Anton Khudobin to the Boston Bruins for prospects Jeff Penner and Mikko Lehtonen. Khudobin had won 5 of 6 professional starts but he's spent most of this season playing for the Houston Aeroes. The trade was made just before the NHL trade deadline yesterday afternoon.

The Minnesota Wild lost 4-2 at Los Angeles to the Kings Thursday night. The Kings scored 2 3rd period goals to break the 2-all tie. Brent Burns and Eric Nystrom each scored a goal for the Wild and Burns added an assist. Niklas Backstrom had 26 saves for Minnesota.
