Brodin is an 18-year old from Sweden that was selected with the 10th overall pick in last month's NHL draft. Brodin had 4 assists in 42 games playing for his Swedish Elite League team as a 17-year old last season. He scored 2 goals in 14 playoff games to help his team to the league championship.

The Minnesota Wild announced plans for their 2011 road tour Tuesday. The Wild will be in St. Cloud Wednesday June 22 from 2:30-3:30 at the Ice Arena at the MAC. Wild players Cal Clutterbuck and Marco Scandella, former Wild player Wes Walz, television play-by-play man Dan Terhaar and mascot Nordy will be here. The Road tour will also make stops in Brainerd and Duluth.
