The Minnesota Wild downed the Anaheim Ducks 5-3 Sunday night. Nick Johnson scored the game-winning goal with 5:31 left in the 3rd period. Matt Cullen had 3 assists and both Casey Wellman and Cal Clutterbuck each scored a goal and added an assist for Minnesota. Josh Harding had 24 saves in net for the Wild.

The Minnesota Wild continued with their winning ways with a 4-2 home win over New Jersey Friday night at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. The Wild improve to 16-7-3 and with 35 points continue to lead the Northwest Division by 6 points over both Vancouver and Edmonton.

Devin Setoguchi had a goal in regulation and Niklas Backstrom had 28 saves for Minnesota. The Wild scored 2 2nd period goals after falling behind 2-0.

The Minnesota Wild snapped a 2-game losing streak with a 3-1 win over Tampa Bay Monday night. Cal Clutterbuck and Mikko Koivu each scored a goal and added an assist and Pierre-Marc Bouchard scored a goal for the Wild. Niklas Backstrom had 32 saves for Minnesota.

The Minnesota Wild lost 5-2 against Calgary at home Sunday night to drop their 2nd game in a row. Niklas Backstrom was replaced by Josh Harding after allowing 3 first period goals. Harding finished with 25 saves and allowed 2 3rd period goals. Cal Clutterbuck and Nick Johnson each scored a goal for the Wild in the first period.

Niklas Backstrom was a late scratch due to injury.

The Minnesota Wild defeat Colorado 1-0 Thursday night to expand their lead in the Northwest Division. Niklas Backstrom had 27 saves to get the shutout in net and Devin Setoguchi scored the lone Minnesota goal. The Wild were outshot 27-18.

The Minnesota Wild won 4-2 at Columbus Tuesday night to increase their lead in the Northwest Division. The Wild fell behind 2-0 after 1 period but scored 2 goals in the 2nd period and added 2 more in the 3rd. Matt Cullen, Nick Johnson, Cal Clutterbuck and Devin Setoguchi each scored a goal for Minnesota. Niklas Backstrom had 43 saves for the Wild.
