The Vikings game against Denver December 4 has been moved from a 3pm start to a noon start and the game has been moved from CBS to FOX as part of the NFL's flexible scheduling plan over the last 2 months of the season. The Vikings still have 5,800 tickets are remaining for the game against Denver.

The Vikings lost 27-21 at home to the Oakland Raiders Sunday afternoon at Mall of America Field. Minnesota fell behind 24-7 but scored 14 4th quarter points to make the game interesting. Christian Ponder was 19-33 passing for 211 yards and 2 touchdowns with 3 interceptions and he ran for 71 yards to lead the team. Percy Harvin led the team with 6 catches for 73 yards and a touchdown.

Viking running back Adrian Peterson suffered a sprained ankle in the 2nd quarter of Sunday's 27-21 loss for the Vikings against Oakland. Peterson couldn't put any weight on the ankle and was carted off the field. X-rays on the ankle were negative but he'll have an MRI done on the ankle today.

Carson Palmer threw for 164 yards and a touchdown and the Oakland Raiders capitalized on mistakes by Minnesota in a 27-21 victory over the Vikings on Sunday.

The Vikings signed veteran cornerback Benny Sapp to a contract Wednesday. Minnesota had a need at that position with Antoine Winfield sidelined for the season with a fractured clavicle and 2nd year cornerback Chris Cook facing felony domestic battery charges.

The Vikings will play the remainder of the season without cornerback Antoine Winfield. Viking head coach Leslie Frazier confirmed Tuesday that Winfield broke his clavicle (collar bone) Monday night in the loss at Green Bay. Frazier says Winfield will have surgery Thursday. Winfield has missed 4 straight games with neck injury prior to returning to Monday night's game at Green Bay.

The Vikings lost 45-7 at Green Bay against the Packers Monday night. Minnesota trailed 17-0 at halftime and the game got away from the Vikings in the 2nd half. Aaron Rodgers threw for 250 yards and 4 touchdowns for Green Bay. Christian Ponder was 16-34 passing for 190 yards with no touchdowns and 1 interception.

The Vikings play the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field in Green Bay at 7:30pm tonight, pregame on WJON at 6:30. The Vikings are 2-6 and have had a 15-day layoff because of a bye week week 9. Green Bay is 8-0. Minnesota lost to Green Bay 33-27 at Mall of America Field October 23 in rookie Christian Ponder's first start.

Viking quarterback Christian Ponder is back at practice for the Vikings after the team was on bye week 9. Ponder says he looks forward to playing in his first Monday night game when the Vikings play at Green Bay Monday night at 7:30, pregame on WJON at 6:30.

Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton says he feels some lawmakers are dragging their feet on the building of a Vikings Stadium. He says he hears complaints from some that some lawmakers would like to put off the Viking Stadium issue until after the 2012 election.
