A northern Minnesota sheriff says his office is better equipped than state or federal officials to investigate when wolves are suspected in the death of ranchers' livestock.
A deadly virus has affected around 300 hog barns around the state. The disease is called the Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea virus, which dehydrates young pigs.
