Albany school and police officials are investigating a threat made against the district. Superintendent Greg Johnson says some students found the threat written on a bathroom wall in the high school late in the day on Monday. It referred to something happening on Thursday of next week.

Voters in the Albany school district have overwhelmingly approved a bond referendum. There were 2,079, or 81-percent, "yes" votes. And there were 472, or 19-percent, "no" votes.

This week in our "Your Town Tuesday" series we're focusing on what's happening in Albany. Today (Tuesday) is the first official day on the job for new Albany schools superintendent Greg Johnson.

The Albany school board has narrowed their list of superintendent candidates down to two. Greg Johnson, who is currently the principal at Sartell's Pine Meadow elementary, and Hills-Beaver Creek Superintendent Todd Holthaus, are the two finalists.
