St. Cloud has given its approval to the final layout of the Stearns County Road 120 improvements. The council voted 4-to-3 in favor of the project which will create roundabouts at County Road 134/50th Avenue and at CentraCare Circle.

An open seat on the Sauk Rapids City Council is expected to be filled tonight (Monday). Eleven people applied for the position, the council interviewed the candidates last week, and they'll appoint one of them tonight.

A former St. Cloud City Council member has been appointed to fill a seat left vacant with the election of John Pederson to the state senate. Jeff Goerger will take over for Pederson at the first meeting in January.
