With hopes of becoming one step closer to eagle scout, nearly 30 boy scouts hiked to the north end of the St. Cloud Technical and Community College's Campus this (Thursday) afternoon.

A former St. Paul Boy Scout has filed a civil lawsuit, claiming he was sexually abused by two scout leaders more than 40 years ago. In his lawsuit filed in Ramsey County District Court, John Doe 152 claims the Boy Scouts of America and the local Northern Star Council failed to protect him from his abusers.
A St. Paul man is suing the Boy Scouts of America, claiming his scoutmaster repeatedly sexually abused him when he was between 12 and 16. Jim McDonough's lawsuit alleges the abuse happened between 1967 and 1971 at the hands of Leland "Lee" Opalinski, who died last year.
The Boy Scout Troop 20 will host their annual Christmas dinner tomorrow (Thursday) at St. Joseph's Church in Waite Park. The dinner, which includes the traditional holiday cuisine of turkey, potatoes, dressing, and pie, goes from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is free to the public.
