St. Cloud voters will be deciding on an $18-million bond referendum when they head to the polls this November. The city council approved the referendum by a unanimous vote Monday night.
The city of St. Cloud is considering putting a bond referendum on the ballot this November. Mayor Dave Kleis says it stems from their recent citywide survey where respondents indicated transportation, congestion and the condition of roads as the top priority.
Tomorrow (Tuesday) is election day in Minnesota. Several area schools are asking their residents to raise their own taxes in the form of operating levies and/or bonding referendums.
The Sartell-St. Stephen school district will put two questions on the November ballot. The first will ask voters to approve a $2.9 million levy for 10 years. That would replace the current $1.2 million levy that is set to expire at the end of this year.
