UNDATED - Two area school districts are hosting public meetings on their operating levies.

Sauk Rapids-Rice will host a meeting tonight (Tuesday) at 6:30 p.m. at the Middle School.  A second meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday, October 25th at 6:30 p.m. at Rice Elementary.

Voters in the Sauk Rapids-Rice district will be voting on two questions.  The first question asks for about $944,000 a year for 10 years.  The second question asks for an additional $728,000 a year for five years.  The first question has to pass in order for the second question to pass.

Sartell-St. Stephen will host two meetings on Monday, October 24th: one at 5:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Elementary and one at 7:00 p.m. at Sartell Middle School.  They also have two meetings on Thursday, October 27th: at 5:00 p.m. at Pine Meadow Elementary and at 7:00 p.m. at Sartell High School.

The Sartell-St. Stephen school district will have two questions on the November 8th ballot.  The first will ask voters to approve a $2.9 million levy for 10 years.  That would replace the current $1.2 million levy that is set to expire at the end of this year.  The second question is for a $9 million bond referendum for building improvements.

The ROCORI school district will also have two operating levy questions on the November 8th ballot.  There are at least 113 districts in the state will ballot questions next month.
