Sixteen baseball teams from across the state are coming to St. Cloud this weekend. The Division I Minnesota American Legion State Baseball Tournament starts Thursday and runs through Sunday.
The St. Cloud Chutes defeated Little Falls 5-0 and 7-3 in the championship of the American Legion Sub-State 12 tournament Saturday in Sartell. Buffalo defeated Delano 5-2 to capture the Sub-State 15 Title.
The St. Cloud Chutes will meet Little Falls in the Sub State 12 American Legion Baseball tournament at Champion Field in Sartell tonight at 7:30. The Chutes beat Sauk Rapids 10-5 and Little Falls downed Waite Park 5-2 Thursday night.

The St. Cloud 76ers rallied from a 4-run deficit to beat Foley 10-6 in the winners bracket of the Sub-State 12 tournament at Champion Field in Sartell. The 76ers play Sartell tonight at 7pm in Sartell tonight.
American Legion Baseball players in Minnesota will be required to show "proper respect" during the National Anthem, or they won't be able to play. The Minnesota American Legion committee adopted a no-tolerance policy when it comes to players' behavior during the anthem before games.
