The St. Cloud Rox snapped a 14-game losing streak with a 3-2 win over Thunder Bay at Joe Faber Field Tuesday night. Alex Roberts threw 2 scoreless innings with 4 strikeouts to earn the win in relief. Adam Maxon threw a scoreless 9th inning to grab the save. St. Cloud came from down 2-0 with Jamie Simpson scoring the go-ahead run in the 8th inning on a wild pitch. Andy Henkemeyer was 3-4 with 1 RBI and Erik Kozel went 2-4 with a solo homerun and 2 runs scored for the Rox.
The St. Cloud Rox lost 9-6 at home against Willmar Monday night. The loss for the Rox is their 9th straight. Boo Vazquez was 3-5 with a run scored and 1 RBI and Carlos Lopez was 3-5 for St. Cloud.
