Rice Will Be Showing Off Hot Rods Next Weekend

Many folks are planning what they’re going to be doing each weekend, trying to take advantage of the great weather and enjoy some time with your family.  

I know personally several people who look for car shows to use for opportunities to spend time with their kids or their spouse. They take time walking and talking about each of the cars they see. Dads have done this for years with their sons, but more and more car shows have been used for gathering points for the whole family. 

There’s a car show coming next Saturday, this will be one of those opportunities. Scotty’s Kustomz Art & Metal Car and Bike Show will be held at 25 Division Street in Rice from 10-3. 

Hotrods, Ratrods, Muscle Cars, Bikes, Trucks, and Imports are all welcome. And for those who want to show their vehicle, they can do so for free if they donate to a local food shelf.  

There will be handmade trophies provided by Scotty’s Kustomz Art & Metal for the top 5 vehicles and the top 3 bikes that are on display.  

You’re likely to build up an appetite and you’ll have some options. Jimmy’s Food Truck will be on hand and O’Brien's Bar will be open too. You can stay fueled up with Jacked Up Coffee Express who will be on site as well.  

Make sure you put this one on your list of options for next weekend. This event will be free for spectators.
