Rangers Beat Cardinals In Game 5
The Texas Rangers downed the St. Louis Cardinals 4-2 Monday night in game 5 of the World Series. Mike Napoli hit a 2-run double in the 8th inning to break the 2-all tie for the Rangers. Mitch Moreland and Adrian Beltre each hit solo homeruns for Texas. Darren Oliver earned the win in relief for Texas and Neftali Feliz threw a scoreless 9th inning for the save.
The Rangers lead 3 games to 2 and will play at St. Louis in Game 6 Wednesday night at 7:05. Righthander Colby Lewis gets the start on the mound for Texas and Jamie Garcia toes the rubber for St. Louis.
