There are those who absolutely love IKEA.  To be honest, I have only been in that store one time.  And yes, the prices are very good.  But you will spend some time putting most things that you buy there together.  But that's sometime the price you pay for inexpensive furniture pieces.

Also - I had also heard, before entering the store, that sometimes it's easy to get lost.  I thought that was ridiculous.  Well, it's not.  I can see how that would happen.

Anyway, if you don't like going to the twin cities area, or at least to the Mall of America area where IKEA is located, you are in luck.  There is a pop up store that is MUCH closer to St. Cloud. Well, I use MUCH closer in relative terms.

The IKEA pop up store opens TODAY (Friday) in Maple Grove at the Shoppes Arbor Lakes. From Bring Me the News:

The new shopping experience at the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes will open at 11 a.m. Friday, with regular operating hours planned from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily for at least the next six months.

The grand opening celebration, scheduled until 3 p.m., is set to include activities, tours, games, product samples and more.

And, if you get there in time.. or before supplies run out, you will get some Swedish Meatballs too.  If you happen to miss the Grand Opening festivities, you will still have 6 months to check out this pop up store.
