Police: 2nd Victim of Minneapolis Shooting Dies
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minneapolis police say a second victim has died from a shooting in south Minneapolis.
Police say a 23-year-old woman who was critically wounded in the shooting died late Monday evening at Hennepin County Medical Center.
Authorities say the woman was shot along with a 39-year-old man as they sat in a parked car. The man also died.
Officers on patrol in the city's third precinct heard a series of gunshots and found the couple in the car about 2 a.m. Monday.
Police spokesman John Elder tells reporters there's "no indication" the shooting was random.
Authorities say a suspect had fled the scene by the time officers arrived.
The victims' names haven't been released.
