Mr. D’s Slides into First Holiday Season with Bold Flavors & Great Catering

If you haven't been to Mr. D's in Sartell yet, you need to give them a try.

And if you've only tried them once, you need to head back there, because their menu is full of popular comfort food with a few interesting twists. You are sure to find at least a handful of dishes you want to try on the menu. (Might we suggest garlic truffle fries, Mr. D's chicken sandwich, or The Green Chili burger? If you're ready for something bold, order the Gochujang Brussels sprouts.)

Long-time Sartell residents Kenny and Amber Dumpprope opened Mr. D's as a restaurant and bar in August. They wanted to build a laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere complete with arcade games, trivia nights, frequent food specials, fresh ingredients, and crafted cocktails. Their menu has everything from flavor-packed starters to crisp salads, smash burgers, hearty sandwiches, and memorable dinner entrees.

They offered catering for Thanksgiving sides and desserts, and they are taking things to the next level for Christmas and beyond. Be sure to follow their Facebook page for announcements, but so far, they are offering:

Ugly Sweater Party: On Dec. 20, enjoy $25 all-you-can-eat buffet, swag bags for the first 50 people who purchase the buffet, specialty drinks, drink specials, and so much more.

Kids Christmas Event: On Dec. 21, children can build their own flatbread, make a Christmas ornament, decorate a cookie, have their picture taken with Santa, and more.

Off-site Catering: Mr. D's can dish up your favorites at your home or an event venue — and if you don't have a venue, they have a preferred venue they can suggest. They are great for weddings, corporate gatherings, holiday parties, and private celebrations. Don't worry, they can accommodate gluten-free and other dietary restrictions too. For a limited time, you can also get a $500 catering gift card for $350 on The Value Connection.

Liquor Catering: Let Mr. D's professional bartending team worry about the drinks — handcrafted cocktails, premium spirits, beer, and wine. They'll cater everything from a backyard BBQ to weddings and corporate events.
