Mountain Bikers Compete in Can-Am Police-Fire Race

ST. CLOUD -- On a hot and steamy Friday morning, 21 Can-Am Police-Fire Games competitors took to their mountain bikes for a 15-mile race.  Older racers could choose a 10-11 mile course.

The North Loop Single Track Escape is also considered part of the St. Cloud Prison Course.  Riders made 3 laps consisting of about 5-miles each.

The new trail wraps around the west side of the prison.  It includes switchback climbs, bridge crossings and sections which weave in and out of trees.

Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each group.
