Meet Goliath and Nermal: Pet Patrol
Goliath
Goliath is a 9 ½ year old neutered German Shorthaired Pointer mix that came to the shelter because his owner was moving. Goliath has been around other dogs, but can be a little picky about who will be his friend. He’s been around all ages of children, is house trained and used to being an indoor dog. He has a playful side, but needs durable toys. If you have a lake home, you’d never have to wonder where he is - Goliath loves being in the water. Weighing in at 97 pounds, this boy’s going to need a big dog bed!
Nermal
Nermal is a neutered 8 year old cat who came to the shelter because his owner was moving. He’s lived easily with children, dogs and other cats. Nermal has a very mellow and laid back personality. He’d rather pay attention to his people than play with fancy toys. Nermal’s always been an indoor cat and would do great in a home where he can remain inside and be pampered. He’s available for adoption at the PetSmart adoption center. Nermal’s adoption fee would be waived for a senior citizen or veteran.
Check out all the animals available for adoption by going to the Tri-County Humane Society’s website or Facebook page. Or visit them at 735 8th Street Northeast in St. Cloud. They’re open Monday through Thursdays Noon to 6; Fridays noon to 8; Saturdays 11 to 5; and Sundays Noon to 5.
