Long Prairie Woman Arrested After Alleged Assault

LONG PRAIRIE - A 29-year-old Long Prairie woman has been arrested after an alleged assault.

The Todd County Sheriff's Department says the incident happened at about 10:00 p.m. last Wednesday at Camp S'mores on Highway 71.

Christine Nauer is accused of using a knife to attack 43-year-old Dennis Poynter of Long Prairie.

Poynter was taken to Long Prairie Hospital.  He was treated and released.

Nauer is being held in the Todd County Detention Center.
