London Calling? Fish & Chips Food Truck Coming To St. Cloud This Week

If you are a fan of food trucks, specifically food trucks that don't often come to our neck of the woods you'll want to be in town on Friday as On The Hook Fish and Chips will be here. The food truck announced its St. Cloud stop on social media.

(5/24) We're in St Cloud, MN! On Friday, May 24, come to Menards (251 10th Ave S) from 11:00AM to 7:00PM for the absolute BEST WILD ALASKAN COD FISH & CHIPS in the Midwest!

The truck has a cult-like following for its fish and chips. This was a truck that when it came to Rochester and parts of Southern Minnesota a few years ago people drove from parts of Iowa to enjoy some cod. It's that good.

So what makes this fish and chips truck so popular? Well, it's the fish. The cod is, according to the On the Hook website, "is caught one-by-one on a line with hooks every 48 inches. Unlike net-caught, our Cod is brought onboard individually and flash frozen right away for the freshest taste."

The Wyoming-based food truck often stops in states like Montana, South Dakota, Iowa, Arkansas, and of course here in the #BoldNorth.

For those unable to make it out on Friday to Menards in Waite Park, the truck will be in Maple Grove on Wednesday and up near Duluth on Thursday, as the truck will be in Hermantown.
