Did you know that Minnesota has a professional sports team that clinched their division  AND home field advantage a few weeks ago? The Minnesota Wind Chill's final tune up before the playoffs is this Saturday at Sea Foam Stadium in St. Paul.

The Minnesota Wind Chill are a professional ultimate frisbee franchise that formed in 2013 and are part of the Ultimate Frisbee Association. They play their home games at Sea Foam Stadium on the Concordia University (St. Paul) campus.

This episode of Choad on the Road found me attending the June 22nd Wind Chill game against the Madison Radicals. The game experience was festive and fun! Most of the seats were filled with fans who were there to cheer on their team, and not just to be seen. The Radicals' fanbase travels well, so it was extra fun watching the fanbases go back-and-forth (respectfully...mostly). Concessions featured food trucks, and there was a beer garden for VIPs.

Big League Sound Made for a Big League Experience

Familiar voices were coming from the stadium speakers, and it turns out that DJ Mad Mardigan (official DJ of the Minnesota Timberwolves) and Joe "Juice" Sutton (in-game host of the Minnesota Twins) are part of the Chilly fun, too!
