Felony Charge Filed in Death of Teen
MANTORVILLE, Minn. (AP) - A manslaughter charge has been filed against a man accused in the death of a teen whose body was found in freezing temperatures two months after he disappeared in Dodge County.
An autopsy and toxicology tests determined 15-year-old Noah Graddy died of hypothermia and drug intoxication. The boy's body was found in deep snow between Kasson and Dodge Center March 20. His family last saw him on Jan. 19.
Reports say 19-year-old Darrian Rice, of Kasson, is charged with felony second-degree manslaughter and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Prosecutors say Graddy and two other teens went to Rice's home where they did drugs.
Authorities say Rice told Graddy to leave his house. An attorney for Rice was not listed in court records.
