UNDATED - President-elect Donald Trump has a lot of support in greater Minnesota. Trump got 64 percent of the vote in both Benton and Sherburne Counties, and he received 60 percent of the vote in Stearns County.

Those counties typically vote for the republican presidential candidate, but they are larger margins than they were four years ago.

Meanwhile, Minnesota as a whole has stuck to its tradition of voting for the Democratic presidential candidate. Hillary Clinton hung on to win our state by a slim 46 to 45 percent margin.

Minnesota has gone Democrat every year since 1972.
