Don’t Miss Out on the St. Cloud Photo Contest

This is a fun time of year. Everyone is outside enjoying the nice weather. It’s a time for hobbies, yard work, or just taking a walk. This also means that there will likely be plenty of opportunities to take a great picture.

If you are always keeping your eye out for great photo opportunities, snapping a great picture could pay off in more than just a wonderful memory. The 2024 St. Cloud Greater Photo Contest is underway now through November 1st. 

The guidelines are simple; 

Your picture must contain subjects within the city limits of St. Cloud. 

Entries should be appropriate for all ages to view. 

Any pictures you submit must be photos you have taken. 

A higher priority will be given to photos that portray a positive message or theme.  

You can submit up to ten photos.  

Your filename must be your first name, last name, and a short description of the picture using letters, numbers and the underscore character. 

Any picture you submit must be of a sufficient resolution that it can be shown in 8x10 photo form without the loss of quality.  

Each photo must meet the following guidelines; 

A minimum of 300 dpi resolution 

A minimum of 1600 x 1200 pixel dimension 

JPG format saved at the highest possible quality 

The maximum file size to upload is 10 megabytes. 

The winning photo lands its photographer $500, followed by $300 for second place and $200 for third.  

All entries could be used in marketing for the city and could be put on display in high traffic areas in St. Cloud. Click here to see all the details.
