Dense Fog Reducing Visibility in Central Minnesota

UNDATED - Dense fog with visibilities of a quarter mile or less will continue through the late morning and into the early afternoon.  The fog has been lingering longer than expected.  Slow improvement is expected this afternoon.

The fog will be most dense in rural areas south and west of the Mississippi River.

In addition, with temperatures near freezing, the fog could create a thin glaze of ice on some roads.

Be especially careful on lesser traveled roads and walkways.
