Community Charity Challenge A Smashing Success

The totals are in for last month's 10th Annual Community Charity Challenge, and the numbers look good.

The Central Minnesota Community Foundation and the Norman c Skalicky Foundation partnered to raise over $109,000  for the Salvation Army, Catholic Charities and St Joseph food shelves.

The Skalicky Foundation agreed to match donations dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000, but because community support was so strong, they increased it to $50,000.

During the last 10 years of the Community Charity Challenge, over $800,000 has been raised.
