The National Weather Service is expecting another snowstorm to hit Minnesota this week. They say accumulating snow is possible on Tuesday night and throughout the day on Wednesday.
Minnesotans are digging out - again - after another winter storm dumped more than a foot-and-a-half of snow on parts of the state. Madison, in western Minnesota, reports 19 inches of snow. Other snowfall reports include 17 inches in Eden Prairie, 16 inches in Bloomington and 12-and-a-half inches at the Twin Cities airport.
We picked-up another four-inches of snow in St. Cloud yesterday (Monday). That gives us a two-day total of 8 1/2 inches of snow in St. Cloud. Now for the month of February we've had 9.7 inches.
A Minnesota state trooper is being treated after he was hit by a semi-truck on Interstate 94 near St. Cloud. A State Patrol dispatcher says the accident happened about 10:40 a.m. Monday as the trooper was writing a ticket.
