Minnesota Timberwolves

The Wolves trailed 60-40 at the half and had trouble getting going in the second game of a home-and-road back to back. However, the Wolves found a spark at the half and outscored the Knicks 30-18 in the third quarter.

The Denver Nuggets snapped a five-game home losing streak with a 111-108 overtime victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night. Danilo Gallinari finished with 23 points, including nine in overtime to lead the Nuggets.

The Wolves led throughout most of the game but faded down the stretch and were outscored 39-29 in the fourth quarter.

The Timberwolves snapped a 14-game home losing streak with a 100-95 win over the Philadelphia 76ers Monday night. Minnesota outscored Philly 26-22 in the 4th quarter. Andrew Wiggins led the Wolves with 32 points including 11-12 from the free throw line.

The Timberwolves host the Detroit Pistons Friday night at Target Center. Pregame coverage on WJON begins at 6:45 p.m.

The Timberwolves improved to 5-1 away from home with season with a 103-91 win at Miami Tuesday night. Minnesota outscored the Heat 41-22 in the 4th quarter. Andrew Wiggins led the Wolves with 24 points, Zach LaVine added 17 and Shabazz Muhammed added 16 points.
